Really wonderful catering! We hired Far Out Catering for our wedding and I am so happy we did, not only was the food amazing, the staff was wonderful, and our rentals really helped make my vision for the theme shine. They have such a wide variety of food options for everyone and they really go above and beyond for their clients and their food.
Carla and her team created the most beautiful grazing table for my event. Carla was contactable leading up to the event, answering questions that I had. She arrived promptly on the day. The food was fresh, and looked and tasted great. They also arrived at the end of the party to box up the food and tidy away their stands. This was probably the most stress-free experience I have had. I would definitely recommend Far Out Catering.

Carla and Kiah are more than just a catering company! Not only do they offer a wide variety of delicious food options, they also do decor, rentals, and flowers! They are extremely communicative, flexible, and super friendly. We had a few last minute needs and they were able to accommodate us, no questions asked! Usually weddings are very stressful, but after working with Far Out, I miss planning my wedding because they were just so pleasant to work with.
I had the privilege of enjoying Far Out Catering's wonderful work at a special birthday party. Everything was amazingly attractive to the eye, and absolutely delectable to the palate! I was impressed by the thoughtful and courteous service, the range of items on Far Out's charcuterie boards and by the general menu variety; the presentation could be 'still life'-museum-quality-beautiful, and the ingredients fresh and surprising at every turn. I have also enjoyed the delightful treat of their whiskey-brown butter-chocolate chip cookies--nothing common about these! Highly recommended!
I attended a birthday party catered by Far Out Catering and the entire event was STUNNING. The amount of care and attention to detail was evident anywhere you looked. The food was delicious and there were so many options. Where ever we looked there was another element that we noticed that was just beautiful. The entire event went smoothly and I am definitely keeping them in my back pocket for my next event!
We loved working with Far Out Catering! They catered our mini wedding in 2021 and also recently catered our 100+ person baby shower in Jan 2024 and everything went super smoothly at both events. For our mini wedding in 2021, they provided delicious boxed lunches + desserts for our families and helped create a stunning wedding cake (only the top layer was real food, bottom tiers were for staging only) that looked amazing in photos. For our larger baby shower just recently, they provided a gorgeous grazing table full of amazing charcuterie and snacks, 3 different types of warm appetizers, and a beautiful spread of assorted desserts, tarts and cookies. Guests were raving about the food + presentation and it was such a comfort having Carla and Kiah's warm and professional presence at this major life milestone. We originally met this dream team in early 2020 when we were looking for wedding vendors and were immediately impressed with their professionalism, friendliness and talent (aka delicious food) from the first time we met them for our tasting. When COVID hit just a few months later, they were super understanding and flexible; it truly felt like we were all on the same team and that we were navigating the unknowns together. We ended up having to reschedule our event twice and still ended up with a smaller-than-planned family-only wedding ceremony. Through all the ups and downs of the entire covid-wedding-planning experience, they maintained positivity and stayed focused on providing the best service to us, no matter what that looked like. We were so happy to have another excuse to work with them more recently to finally share their amazingness with a larger group of our friends and family. It was definitely worth the wait and we hope to be able to work with them again for other milestones in our lives moving forward. Thank you!!!
Our #Queer wedding had many highlights, however our special order they made for us, vegetarian and nut free razing boxes that were also gluten free were a big hit. We had a few extra and out guests took them home to enjoy the next day, we only had five in our wedding night suite which we ate with friends after partying. Veggie charcuterie was very important to us because as we have dated, often our dinners are some form of this. Thank you to the team at Far Out Catering for making our cupcakes as well, I was honored to have a chocolate one fall out of my mouth and hit my right on the dress, everything washed out and the cupcake was amazing! We had the pleasure of having Far Out Catering cater our wedding and we have absolutely no regrets! My husband and I adopted a vegan lifestyle over five years ago, so it was very important to us to be able to offer delicious vegan food on our wedding day. It was a challenge finding a catering company that would accommodate a 100% vegan menu that consisted of food that non-vegans would enjoy as well. As soon as we spoke with Carla, she presented her initial ideas to us and we knew immediately we had found what we were searching for! Our plated dinner consisted of two DELICIOUS pasta options, and various appetizers such as bruschetta, jackfruit tostadas, and papas a la huancaina. And yes... ALL VEGAN. Even down to the parmesan cheese! In addition to the food, Far Out Catering supplied the rentals for tables, chairs, tableware, and linens. They were able to easily collaborate with our wedding designer to ensure that our wedding was perfect! On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly. The food came out on time and all of our guests were raving about the delicious vegan food!The staff was helpful, attentive, and courteous and it was an absolute pleasure working with Carla and Kiah!
